The Reader's Passport is a booklet that aims to be a tool to stimulate reading just when children begin to read independently, at the same time that it allows to give continuity to the connection between parents and children through the moment of reading. For this reason, we think that it is a recommended product for children between 6 and 10 years old. The Passport includes various activities and proposals with which to awaken the passion for books.
All boys and girls love to be read to stories, but the moment in which we must begin to read autonomously is decisive: we will become book-eaters or reading will cease to interest us. That is why this moment of the first autonomous readings is so important and that is why we thought about creating this product.
It is also a proposal to help children establish open connections with other people and with the world around them, expanding the experience of reading beyond a specific book, and favoring the growth of critical and autonomous thinking.
The Reader Passport is part of our collection Ediciones Memorables , a small collection that, under the format of cards or passports, aims to highlight some of the important moments in the biography of boys and girls: the fall of the first tooth, the first bicycle, that trip that we always remember or the first autonomous readings that marked our love for reading.
